Triphala

Triphala – In Sanskrit it means three fruits – consists of dried and crushed amla (Embilica officinalis) bibhitaki (Terminalia bellirica) and Haritaki (Terminalia chebula). The three fruits are mixed in an appropriate proportion.  Ayurveda uses triphala as a gentle laxative, for rejuvenation and for removing toxins from the body especially the gut.
